Reception has enjoyed creating bears from different creative resources. They used their fine motor skills to snip and cut different textures and materials to create the different features on a bear 🐻

Y4 work, based on our whole school text, The Little Mouse and the Red Wall. We wrote a diary entry from the mouse’s perspective including events and emotions from the text. Our artwork shows opportunities when you overcome barriers, we depicted this using sketching and colour 🖼️

Y4 ordered significant events in Africa’s history chronologically. After this, we ordered the statements in order of significance, debating the 5 most important events were and written justifications. It was great linking our #AYYR skills to history! 🇧🇯 The Three Saints Academy Trust Maddy Barnes

Y3 conducted a scientific experiment! They explored how water transports up the stem of the plant. Each group used different length stems to explore and observe changes. 🌿

Year 4 loved being involved in a physical represention of part of our digestive system today exploring a journey of food, building on our knowledge from last week. It was a rather disgusting experiment with lots of brave people eager to participate. 👍🏼

In writing, Y4 recapped the events of our Journey text. We independently ranked the 5 most important events thinking about the cause and effect. We then held a debate, using build on and challenge to share our justifications using oracy skills. #AYYR Maddy Barnes Natalie Parry
