This could have been filmed in Toronto in 2010 during the G20 while Harper was PM, and I am sick to death of this conservative pretence that Canada has never experienced protests before. Grow up and cut the bs, please.

We know how we're spending our morning. A cup of tea or coffee, a pastry, and reading Will Greaves and Gabriella Gricius's new article on foreign policy studies and the lack of climate change, the Arctic, and environmental diplomacy within it.

CPC Leader Pierre Poilievre got kicked out of the House of Commons for a back and forth with the speaker, after calling the PM a “whacko.”

CPC MP Rachael Thomas was kicked out earlier for calling the speaker a disgrace

Anyway, the president of Columbia is toast or the university will come to a standstill, the Pulitzers are probably going to be boycotted, lawsuits are going to cost the NYPD millions and millions of dollars, and the mayor of New York is going to either not run or lose reelection.

It’s a real problem when the leaders of institutions don’t understand the best interests of those institutions.

Reminder: the UCP's drift into authoritarianism is neither new nor normal.

The volume & audacity of their misdeeds shouldn't lull Albertans into thinking that it’s politics as usual. Just because these episodes happen in plain sight doesn't excuse them.

Be careful, or the people who claim to hate cancel culture will try getting you fired for saying things that hurt their sensitive little feelings.

You know what's pretty fucked up? Pierre Poilievre said 'everything he says is bullshit,' about the Prime Minister, and then followed it up the next day with the 'lying CBC is at it again,' and no one wrote a breathless piece on the need for statesmanship.
