With millions on NHS waiting lists and struggling financially, we need bold action. The Liberal Democrats will propose positive solutions and hold the new government accountable if they fail to rise to the challenges facing the country.

I attended LinkAble’s Paralympics Community Fun Day at the Sportsbox in #Woking yesterday. It was fantastic to see everyone getting stuck into the accessible sports and playing the games together - thank you for letting me present some of medals to the winners!

Parliament is back from summer recess this week! It's good to be back in Westminster to stand up for #Woking as our new MP and meet the Speaker. If you have anything you want me to raise on your behalf - please contact me on [email protected].

Speakers and guests came together for 'An Evening on PR' at Christ Church, Woking last Saturday. Well done to Amelie Abass for arranging and thank you to Will Forster MP 🔶 MP and all for coming along to hear why our electoral system is broken and how PR would Make Votes Matter 😁😁

My thoughts today are with the 72 people who lost their lives in the Grenfell fire, and with the survivors and bereaved families who have fought so long. This is their day. They have waited too long to get the truth, and are still waiting for real justice and meaningful action.

Every day in Parliament is busy and full of variety. Today was no different and included: ✉️ a drop-in about Post Offices, their services and role in communities 🛤️ a drop in with GWR and Network Rail 👏 had the pleasure of watching my friend Will Forster MP 🔶 doing his maiden speech.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting #McLaren, one of #Woking’s largest employers. I had the opportunity to tour this fantastic facility, learn about their exciting plans for the future, their commitment to youth and sustainability, as well as the challenges they face.

With millions of pensioners already struggling to make ends meet and energy bills rising, cutting Winter Fuel Payments will only make things harder. The Government must reconsider and act now to protect the poorest and most vulnerable.

I'm looking for caseworkers to join my growing team in #Woking. If you, or someone you know, who would be interested, take a look at the job advert here: w4mpjobs.org/JobDetails.asp…

I've taken the fight that is dear to many of my constituents’ heart to Westminster. It is unfair that the new Labour government is stripping away the winter fuel payment from so many elderly people. I will always fight for what is right for #Woking in Westminster.

Thank you to the Woking News & Mail for highlighting my campaign against Government plans that could deny winter fuel payments to nearly 15,000 #Woking pensioners. wokingnewsandmail.co.uk/news/mp-forste…

Cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance will put untold stress on pensioners. We all know that the Conservatives left public finances in a mess, but vulnerable older people should not be forced to choose between eating and heating this winter. Liberal Democrats will oppose this cut.

With millions struggling with the cost of living, cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance will force many vulnerable older people to make difficult decisions this winter. The Government should change course.

Today, I asked the Prime Minister if the government will guarantee cancer patients can start treatment within 62 days. In the final year of the last government, over 100,000 people waited longer than two months. When it comes to fighting cancer, every day counts.
