Hearing from the great Senator Linda Rogers about the transformative legislation she has carried to support public charter schools in Indiana. Senator Rogers is a true champion and someone I greatly admire.

Today I proclaim the week of January 26 as School Choice Week in Indiana. Every child deserves the best education possible, and I want to ensure every parent has the resources needed to make that happen. Let’s make school choice universal for all Hoosiers! Institute for Quality Education

Charter schools are free, public, & open to all. They serve the majority of Black, Hispanic, & low-income public school students within IPS boundaries. They lead their students to superior academic gains. Yet they face an $8,000 per pupil funding disparity. This must change.
