We don't see this species often, in the Redlands. Our previous sightings, a few years ago, were at Crystal Waters also.

A caterpillar train crossing the Eddie Santagiuliana Way yesterday - with some train music.
These hairy caterpillars are of the Bag Shelter Moth (Ochrogaster lunifer). Their long hairs can cause skin irritation and for some people an allergic reaction.
