Because astronomically high Commercial rents force whatever Independents into Food Courts while way too many shitty fast food & quick service chains dominate the Streetscapes of the GTA Super expensive Real Estate ruins everything

If you think the pandemic's over, you're badly wrong. This is the staff absence rate for the seventh largest employer in the world. See the consistency of the absence rate leading up to the pandemic... Look at how it changed in 2020. And see where it's going *now*.

Pre-covid, this variation is your classic northern hemisphere seasonal infection cycle. It's annual. Peak in January most of the time, sometimes a month earlier, sometimes a month later. Trough in May most of the time, sometimes a month earlier or later.

Since then... chaos. Peaks of sickness absence in April, January, March, July, December, and when's the next one going to peak? And troughs in March, August, May, September... You know what these all correlate with? WAVES AND TROUGHS OF FECKING COVID INFECTIONS.

And meanwhile, the troughs never drop as low as before. In fact, the BEST absence rate of the last two years is worse than the worst of three of the 8 years leading up to the pandemic...

Those of us who called Trump a fascist from the start in mainstream outlets ended up with our articles hidden by paywalls. History blocked. This is what my 2016 Election Day article looks like now:

Taking a look at just the heart, JAMA cardiology recommends waiting 14 days post asymptomatic infection. Post 14 days cessation of symptoms. And then you are to get a full cardio checkup. And that is just the heart. More to come (mtc). vcuhealth.org/pauley-heart-c….

honestly incredible that JD Vance managed to fuck up theology so badly that the fucking Pope had to issue a statement saying he got it wrong. That's like fucking up your science fair model rocket so badly the administrator of NASA has to issue a statement calling you out on it.

The recent rise in long-term unemployment is concentrated in the 15-24-years age group, accounting for more than a fifth of the total long-term unemployed. This is becoming a real tragedy for Canada's youth. #cdnecon

Why is America losing its allure to foreign researchers and science students? The most straightforward reason is money, or the looming lack of it as a result of Trump administration funding cuts econ.st/43uptr0

Sigh, hate to always be sounding like a broken record, but it bears repeating at this point: If it feels like your government is trying to kill you, it's probably because your government is trying to kill you.
