We are immensely proud of our yr.5/6 athletics team who finished 2nd overall at the county sportshall athletics finals. Pupils have trained so hard and pushed themselves to constantly improve and all their hard work paid off by winning silver. We are so proud of whole team.

In Year 1 children have been learning about an information text ‘Amazing Antelope’. They had a fantastic time exploring various newspapers and articles identifying its features for example, heading, subheading, facts/captions and photography

For their D.T. Food topic this half term, Year 2 decided to sell the food they made at their Healthy Tuck Shop. They worked hard producing fruit salad pots, fruit kebabs and fruit pizzas this morning and sold them all on the playground at playtime.

Last night we hosted our first community Iftar. We listened to heartwarming speeches from Mr Johnston and our governor Mrs Phee, as well as hearing recitals of the Quran from some courageous Year 6 pupils. We then enjoyed a delicious meal together, after making our Dua’s.

Very proud of our yr.6 pupils, who led their first activity for our younger pupils. Over the last few weeks, pupils have been looking at values of a good leader, planning, differentiating making sure everyone is active and they delivered some fantastic events for all to enjoy.
