What a remarkable start to the half term for our Values Awards winners this week, well done everybody 🤩

We’re so excited that our chicks arrived this week! Acorns and Conkers have been looking after them and welcomed visitors from around the school. The chicks needed a well earned rest after such a busy week hatching!

Over 150 new reading scheme books have arrived today for children of all ages. These were paid for with sponsorship money from our Bounce for Books and Blooms day organised by our wonderful PTA. Look out for them in book bags very soon!

Our chicks are growing up so fast, they’ve even started getting feathers!

We’ve got less Values children this week due to school trips. However, this group have more than made up for it with their brilliance! Well done everyone!

Year 6 have left Gunwharf Quays after a fun but tiring week at UKSA. A couple of hours and we’ll all be back to be reunited with you all! We will keep you posted with journey times. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

It’s been a week already since our thoroughly enjoyable Sports Day. Congratulations to #Bowie who were winners in both KS1 and KS2, as well as all of those who took part.

Thanks to everyone who attended our Summer Fair yesterday, dodging the summer showers! It was fabulously attended and there was a sunshine atmosphere despite the weather. Particular thanks to our incredible PTA for all of their dedication and hard work as always.

We are excited to inform you that the Wickham Common Comets won their cheerleading competition in the small school division category. All the girls worked very hard and were fantastic ambassadors for the school. Their teamwork was outstanding, and they were truly amazing.

And we’re back! What an incredible start to our first Values Awards Winners of the academic year! You’ve made a great impression on your new teachers!
