A few random photos from last night's aurora, taken from Salisbury Plain.

The old Netheravon-Market Lavington road climbs through a holloway. One of the old roads that eventually disappears in the forbidden areas of the Plain. Oddly, it appears to have been mown.

Recent male sparrowhawk feasting on a long-tailed tit. Shame, because LTTs are such cuties, but a sprawk's gotta eat.

The old Market Lavington to Salisbury road crosses Candown Bottom on a causeway and then cuts up Green Down as a holloway.

The sun came out! So exciting, I don't even care that I'm in the photo :) Salisbury plain grassland at Black Heath.

I don't only take photos. I also write novels set in the same landscape. Set in the 1970s, because, well *Things* were odder back then -- that is, UFO culture was very English and hippie. However, the novels are not all one genre, and no all about UFOs. See Amazon for synposes.
