The incredible story of the guy behind the iconic image. A challenging read about racism and, honestly, how much have we learned? theguardian.com/society/2021/o…

I fully expect Marvin to become a successful manager in his own right. Always willing to listen to others and able to explain his own ideas. I loved working with him at The Business School, Edinburgh Napier University.

Thanks to Luke Shanley for your insights in last night's session on the PFA Scotland Applied Football Management programme at The Business School, Edinburgh Napier University. Who is my audience? What do they hear? What do others hear? Another area where managers tend to learn the hard way and in public.

Working out "what's next?" is tough for players of all ages but also coaches who find themselves looking for a new challenge. Proud to work with PFA Scotland and The Business School, Edinburgh Napier University to help a few with these tough questions.

This is how end of season celebrations should look. Players and staff able to show appreciation for the contribution of those moving on. Fans showing support and respect. You have to earn the right to be on the pitch.

I'm delighted to have won another ENSA Excellence Award. This recognition of my work is the highest I can receive in my book. Thank you ENSA and the wonderful people I get to work with in a classroom.

Incredible atmosphere outside Hampden last night. As Scotland National Team fans headed home our Ukrainian guests stood and applauded. Of course I'm gutted that we lost but this is what football can mean. After horrible scenes elsewhere, mutual respect is shown. bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-sco…

The most enjoyable part of working with three different groups of players and coaches is watching them make sense of their experience as they look to the future. Working with Marvin Bartley and others has been an incredible learning experience for me.

Fantastic to see Edinburgh Napier Alumni Zander using this opportunity to question and educate. He never was one to stay quiet so I'm glad to see that hasn't changed.

Looking forward to in person presentations at The Business School, Edinburgh Napier University this afternoon with PFA Scotland members on the Applied Football Management programme. It's almost 3 years since we were last able to present together. I'm looking forward to this even if the players aren't!

Trying to figure "what's next?" is incredibly difficult. It's been my pleasure and privilege to work with four groups of players and coaches as they consider the next steps. I don't have many answers but I do have a lot questions to help make sense of the environment.
