Reception have had such an exciting week at school. On Monday the children looked fantastic for Real life superheroes day and on Friday we did a ‘Superhero challenge.’ We walked through a tray of baked beans for Red Nose Day and the children loved it!

Yesterday, Year 2 invited their parents into school to help create a Tudor house using cardboard boxes, lollipop sticks and straw. When the children had made their houses we recreated the events of Pudding Lane in 1666 and set them on fire.

Swans class invited some of Robins to come and join them this afternoon to make sandwiches for their learning on The Tiger Who Came to Tea. Everyone had a fantastic time and Robins can’t wait to come back again soon!

EYFS had a lovely time last week when our grown ups came into school to do some planting. We can’t wait to see the flowers grow and brighten up our outdoor area ready for summer ☀️

On Tuesday Afternoon the children in KS1 enjoyed launching their new 'Ahoy There' theme. The new topic looks at sea explorers and pirates. The children enjoyed coming to school dressed as pirates and we spent the afternoon creating treasure maps, reading pirate stories and more.

A team of Year 6 girls travelled to Bluecoats School to take on other trust schools in a girls football festival. They all showed great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship and they delivered some top class football.
