A really informative day & look at soils with Niels Corfield. A lot of useful tips on how to improve soil health. Take home message is just how important crumbly soils are for water infiltration & crop growth. Lots to think about!
It’s been a wet year but managed to squeeze in seeding plots today for #floodplainmeadow restoration. Mix of hand collected seed thanks to our amazing volunteers Mayfield Village & others. Orchids, great burnet, knapweed, bft, meadow vetchling, ragged-robin plus more. Floodplain Meadows Partnership
