If you have ideas for green investment projects for #nature & #climate in Oxfordshire, please submit them here for consideration by @OxfordshireLEP & Oxfordshire County Council. It would be wonderful to have a clear pipeline of projects to paint our county green! twoy6d88so3.typeform.com/to/CW8vJXaU

The Govt and Steve Reed keep saying public ownership of water would cost £bns, but their figures are out of date. Market forces say that if a company goes bankrupt, it has failed and is almost worthless. But our Govt won't listen. So let's #MARCHFORCLEANWATER tomorrow!

I'd prefer a Green Govt elected in 2029, but failing that, would Labour be a good choice? I'm starting to think they have forgotten voters were utterly fed up with Tories, so voted against them for the alternative. This Govt has lost all connection with what people really want.

Well done Oxfordshire County Council for this civilised approach. This is the kind of policy we need to build a more cohesive society, as the world changes. Asylum seekers are only entitled to £9 a week, which does not give them a chance to find out about British life.

It's an outrage to see so many County Councils, including Suffolk & Norfolk, asking to stop local elections. The councillors wanting to decide on the shape of our councils for the next half century need to have a recent mandate. Greens have increased our councillor numbers five

Water companies face far greater penalties for insolvency or mismanagement than they do for polluting our rivers & beaches. I want to change that by amending the Water (Special Measures) Bill so pollution is treated equally seriously They should deliver for customers & the

The Govt inherited an economic mess from the Conservatives. But the answer is not ruthless cuts on public services already decimated by previous govts The answer is a wealth tax on the super-rich so those with the broadest shoulders help fund the vital services for us all

Flooding devastates communities like mine—and the system is failing people. In the Environmental Audit Committee, I asked how climate change, with its heavier and more frequent storms, is pushing the limits of our country’s flood resilience.

The failed experiment of privatised water has led to runaway bills, terrible service and sewage poured into our rivers and seas. Why wait for the inevitable? We need to renationalise, now.

Incredibly disappointed that MPs didn’t get the chance to vote on the Climate and Nature Bill - a crucial piece of legislation to prevent climate breakdown & protect our natural world. But thanks to all those who backed it - I'll keep fighting for urgent climate action #CANBill

I spoke in Parliament today backing the Climate and Nature Bill. Sadly, after the Government pressured their MPs, the majority chose not to have a vote on the Bill, meaning it won’t become law. This delay is a serious setback in tackling the climate crisis. We need action now.

The expansion of #Heathrow isn't only about climate breakdown, it's about fairness too A small minority of people take the majority of flights yet the pollution & climate breakdown affects everyone, especially the poorest

I questioned Ed Miliband on Monday on how the Govt. could possibly justify airport expansion when aviation has such a detrimental impact on the climate. Today, the Govt. confirmed their support of Heathrow expansion, flying in the face of their own climate scientists' advice🤦

Reform UK say one thing to the public – but vote the complete opposite in Parliament! Whether it’s voting against more rights at work or wanting to privatise the NHS. While they spread division and hate, The Green Party is offering real hope and real change 💚
