As an alumni, employee, and forever faithful of BSC, this truly breaks my heart. The current student body deserves so much more than what the clearly politically divided state has dealt them. BSC football has a roster full of great players, but even better men of character.

Absolutely heartbreaking news. Transferring to BSC was without a doubt one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is devastating to see such a great school close when this situation was clearly avoidable. Shame on the state of Alabama and its elected officials.

Tough day for a lot of people…I was lucky enough to spend 5 years at BSC. I’m not the coach and person I am today without those 5 years. Devastated for all the people involved because that place has special people. #BSC

Heartbroken. I’ll say this, I wouldn’t pick any other community to overcome this situation. The way BSC has responded shows the great leaders this institution produces and the selflessness of the community. I’ll always be a proud alum. I’m here to help in anyway I can!

Definitely feels weird for an opening weekend of SAA Sports football without BSC playing. I was fortunate enough to be apart of some amazing teams, Linebacker rooms , and getting to coach 2 of my own LB rooms. I sure am missing getting ready for BSC Football to kick off!
