The OES Strike Team assigned to the Rice’s Fire last week returned Saturday afternoon. On the evening of July 4, WSFD deployed OES 8435 with another Strike Team. They were dispatched as immediate need to the Electra Fire, off Electra Rd and Hwy 49. #westsacfire

WSFD deployed a Type 3 Strike Team and OES 8435 on Tuesday evening to the Rice’s Fire. This is an active, wind-driven fire in steep and rugged terrain and is exacerbated by drought-stressed trees. #ricesfire #westsacfire #striketeam
