The OES Strike Team assigned to the Rice’s Fire last week returned Saturday afternoon. On the evening of July 4, WSFD deployed OES 8435 with another Strike Team. They were dispatched as immediate need to the Electra Fire, off Electra Rd and Hwy 49. #westsacfire

It is with great sadness that we report West Sacramento Fire Department Fire Engineer Tim Hall, an 18-year veteran with the WSFD, died this morning in the line of duty during a training exercise. Engineer Hall loved this City and bravely served to protect our community.
