Juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper again tucked in South east bay. Only viewable by scoping distantly from dam at 1.10pm.

Pectoral Sandpiper flew to shore below Chappell hide at 1.30pm.

Belvide. Pectoral Sandpiper currently along the SE bay and best viewed from the Scott Hide.

Garganey was a surprise Draycote Water this a.m. Also Black-necked Grebe, Greenshank, 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Ringed Plover, Raven, Yellow-legged Gull, 24 Little Egret, 10 Goosander, 5 Egyptian Geese, c15 Shoveler, 6 Wigeon, Pochard & 2 Grey Wagtail. Draycotebirding WestMidsBirding

Evening walk at Blithfield into Blithe Bay produced 9 Great Egrets, 6 YL Gull, 15 Black Tern, 10 Common Tern, 2 Oyc, 35+Ringie, 5 LRP, 8 Dunlin, 6 Greenshank, Ruff, Kingfisher ⁦⁦Staffs Bird News⁩

Don't know where it was hiding for most of the day yesterday, but the Pectoral Sandpiper decided to show again from the Chappell hide/ SE bay. Managed a few digiscoped flight shots too.

Wind North-East but minimal bird change Draycote Water: Black-necked Grebe, Snipe, Ringed Plover, 5 Egyptian Geese, 20 Little Egret, 9 Goosander, 2 Pochard, 10 Wigeon, 7 Shoveler, Kingfisher and again 000s of hirundine through. Draycotebirding WestMidsBirding

Great White Egret just flown SW over Wollaston at 15.37pm. 2nd record for the garden in 2 years. Not had a little egret!! Crazy. WestMidsBirding

This White Wagtail was at the west end this afternoon. A much scarcer migrant in the autumn at Belvide. (Left hand bird of the 3). Also a Great Egret spent the day at the west end.
