I'm excited to be back at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery with West Ealing WI. I haven't been here since the refurbishment. Chris Gilson and I got married here back in 2009 so it's nice to be back.

We're ever so lucky to be at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery this evening for our last meeting of the year - Director Claire is talking to us about the building and restoration!

The Julian Opie installations look especially wonderful in the dark!

The manor was last lived in in 1899, when the last resident died. Ealing Council bought the land and turned it into a park and library

Sir John Soane commissioned lots of watercolours of the manor in his time, so when the restoration started the team had a good idea of what it should have looked like

Tonight West Ealing WI went behind the scenes at @questorstheatre and it was amazing! It was great to hear about the history of the theatre and get a sneak peak at rehearsals of their upcoming production of India Gate with Southall's Punjabi Theatre Academy.

Do you know someone who was on holiday in Sanday at the end of May, who has now gone home to Ealing in west London? They might - without realising it - have taken a bird tracker with them, which fell off an oystercatcher. And it's been tracking their every move. (1/2)

In support of our 5 Minutes that Matter campaign, we are working with King's College London to promote a study about cervical screening that has been funded by Cancer Research UK. (1/2)
