🌱🌞 Exton Elementary's garden is bursting with life this summer! Thanks to EXE families’ green thumbs and a brand-new fence, the garden has been producing 239 pounds of fresh produce for the Chester County Food Cupboard!🥕🍅

Continuing our first-week check-ins, we started the day at EBE & saw a ton of smiles with a few Cougars still holding onto their jitters 😉 At MCH, 4th graders found a spot on the carpet to read a book together as a class, practicing a new skill - connecting with their reading

Over the summer, WCASD juniors & seniors became business leaders at PA Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) 💼 Thanks to a sponsorship from the West Chester Area Education Foundation 👏💙 students connected with peers & business leaders while learning skills to succeed in the future!

We couldn’t resist stopping by a few schools to scope out the Eagles gear before tonight’s season opener 🦅💚 WTE and FMS didn’t disappoint! Energy was high and everyone is geared up and ready to cheer on the Birds tonight... after finishing their homework, of course 😉

This Week in WCASD 📸 We stopped by Ms. Cardona’s 5th grade class at EBE during their math workshop ➗🧮 Students rotated through a variety of stations - some working independently, others in small groups - all practicing and building different math skills!

Last week, all 3 WCASD middle schools welcomed families for 6th Grade Open House 🎉 Families walked their child’s schedule, met teachers, and saw students proudly show off their new schools and locker skills👏🔓 A great start to this new chapter! 📸: Peirce Middle School
