one way to avoid so much of this would be if the political reporters left covering protests to those of us with actual tactical expertise /journalistic talent

political reporters often silence colleagues by claiming others lack of perceived neutrality makes their jobs harder. Does Peter Baker attacking protesters, on issues he doesn’t cover, makes his colleagues jobs easier or harder? Will he get a “your tweet” email?
