Next up we have Wesley Cunningham Wes Cunningham. Wes came to us from Webster University (D3) and came in the fall sitting 84-85. He made a large jump going into the spring sitting 88-89 and was one of our most reliable pen arms giving us a ton of length.

Wes put in a ton of work with the help of Ben Baggett Connected Performance and followed his plan to a tee. Small wins day in and day out paid dividends this spring.

On the pitching side, Wes had fantastic command walking 3 batters over 31 innings and punching out 29. If you need a guy with a plus changeup that he can throw to both batters look no further. Slider made massive jumps creeping into the low 80’s at times.

Wes has been awesome to work with this season and will be extremely reliable to any pitching staff. Wes’ growth as a person and pitcher has been really fun to watch. Can’t wait to watch him shove this summer for the Fremont Moo in Nebraska.
