Morning A cloudy start this morning. Today will see showers move up through the country. Some will be heavy in the southeast. There'll be some decent sunny spells too. Temps today if 7-11°C in a southwest/southeast wind

The devastating flooding in Portugal this weekend

Plenty of sunny spells this afternoon with a couple of showers leading up the east coast as we move into the evening

A bit of an uncertainty around next Sunday with a possible low bringing some wet & windy evening overnight into Monday morning (16th Feb) I'll continue monitoring & update accordingly

The flooding in parts of Portugal & Spain over the past week with storm Marta & Leonardo has been catastrophic. Around 300-500mm of rain fell in parts of the region along with some strong hurricane force winds at times have left some places devastated.

That rain is now confined to northern areas it will continue to push northwards through this evening staying quite cloudy with a few limited sunny spells in places
