Seeing some reports of northern lights being seen around Maryland & VA (away from city lights). Are you seeing anything right now in your area?

Also to note, if you didn't get to see the northern lights tonight (we do have clouds beginning to fill in), there's a chance you could tomorrow night (and under mainly clear skies).

Tonight, more in the DMV could see the northern lights low on the horizon than last night (thanks to mainly clear skies persisting overnight). Be sure to share your photos with DC News Now! #northernlights #Auroraborealis

G4 Watch continues into 13 November. We have seen the final CME arrive and are now waiting to see just how much magnetic energy exists within. We know the potential for another G4 exists, but we'll have to wait for any related warnings. Stay aware at spaceweather.gov

Final CME arrived & passing over Earth now. Conditions generally weakening, but variable. Strong solar wind speed and periods of favorable magnetic field orientation are driving up geomagnetic storms to G1-G3; with G4 still possible tonight. Stay aware at spaceweather.gov
