Well the bathroom looks so much better today, should be one more day till it's finished. The toilet is getting swapped but kept so I can use it still, and glass to go into the window frame.

I think it's a coincidence rather than anyone knowing/remembering though you never know? But tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of my mums passing and I happen to have it off. I'll never forget, but hoping it's the start of things getting easier and settling down.

It's been a tough day, filled with so many emotions and feelings going on. Avoided tearing up for now but I know It'll hit me later when I relax in a bath. 😢💔 On the plus side I got to book this for next year and give myself one thing to look forward to so far in 2026. 😊🤘

Belated Happy new year to you lovely Twitter folk, hope it's a good one x I worked through Xmas and new year, though I did get Xmas day off and the rota worked out to give me new years day off, but been a busy, for me at least, period. 2026 will be my year, whatever that means.

So a #VeryImportantMachine in work has been acting up, luckily during a time I've not had to use, it either because I'm off or on a different shift. Lets hope it's fixed by Fri, I've got 3 shifts over the weekend where I need to use it constantly.

When did the twitter desktop site have a sort by function? Wondered why I was seeing old tweets first then newer ones after and turns out it had sorted by popular as default instead of recent on the following bit.

What's the etiquette when your phone randomly shows the earbuds/headphones connection pop up for someone else's device? Do I connect and let them hear briefly what I'm listening to 🤣🤣 I didn't this time but it pops up now and again whenever I'm on the bus and I wonder.

Someone had a lovely relaxing bath this evening. 2 months on from getting a new bathroom and love having a bath again.

Who'd have thought that the first Vinyl I buy for myself would be Phil Collins? As I've got older I've really started to listen to and enjoy more of his music. I will eventually get something to play it on, though I just like having physical media.

Day 1 of 5 off, it's nice to have some proper time to rest, relax and not think about work. Will be spending a few days here with the family nid week which will be nice. Unfortunately I go back to a full day of work on Sat because of the home Six nations rugby match.

Can't beat some lovely few days away with the family for kids birthday, lovely views and even some time alpaca walking. The latter more a kids thing.
