Since We Said Enough spoke out in 2017 demanding an end to harassment and assault at the Capitol, we’ve demanded transparency, efficiency, and fair accountability. WSE looks forward to this next stage in the effort to shift the tide towards a safer and fairer #CAleg workplace.

If you’ve been vocal about the #MeToo We Said Enough movement, then greater protections for our farm workers should matter to you. The truth is existing law and enforcement is not effective enough. Workers need a voice and they need representation who can stand with them.

The #SpeakOut bill preventing NDAs in sexual harassment cases passed the Democratic House (again) and is now heading to POTUS to become law. — but a majority of House Republicans said NO. #shame We Said Enough

Today, I proudly signed the Speak Out Act – bipartisan legislation prohibiting non-disclosure agreements from silencing survivors of sexual assault and harassment. This is an historic victory for justice and dignity: empowering survivors and building safer workplaces for all.

We proudly joined Theresa Leticia Ramírez-Zipser and 60+ partners to demand a thorough investigation as to whether - as alleged - Justice Alito leaked the Burwell v. Hobby Lobby decision. Any Alito collusion or leak would be a shocking betrayal to the Supreme Court and to the American people.

Proud to stand with Tina McKinnor today at the introduction of #AB1 - a bill to allow #CALeg staff to unionize. We Said Enough continues to stand with staff & will walk the halls for staff to pass this bill this year. 💪🏻

🚨#CALeg - Today we are opposing #SB573 which would create unfair limitations on the future opportunities of talented Legislative staff. Worse, it could TRAP staff in hostile or abusive work places by preventing them from holding meaningful, well compensated employment elsewhere.

As a leader in We Said Enough, I take it personally when me Samantha Corbin Alicia or Christine Pelosi’s commitment to #metoo victims is questioned. For 6 years this has been a labor of love for us. Aisha Wahab 愛莎華 your bullying from the dias today was unacceptable. I oppose #SB573
