Liftoff, Crew-11! At 11:43am (ET) Friday, NASA astronauts Zena Cardman & Mike Fincke, JAXA astronaut Kimiya Yui, & Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov left Earth aboard a Crew Dragon spacecraft launched from NASA's KSC atop a Space X Falcon 9 rocket.

~8 mins later, the first stage booster returned to LZ-1 to be flown again; this was the last use of LZ-1 to recover a booster. (Bonus: birb & dolphin)

Liftoff!! What a show from the Vulcan rocket as United Launch Alliance launched the USSF-106 classified payload at 8:56pm (ET) Tuesday night. This is the view until main engine cutoff, seen from Palm Shores (28-miles south of the pad).

Launched and landed: At 11:50pm (ET) Thursday, a SpaceX Falcon 9 launched the USSF-36 mission, sending the X-37B spaceplane to space. ~8 minutes later, the 1st stage booster returned to Cape Canaveral to be flown again.

On this date 6 years ago, United Launch Alliance launched the last Delta IV Medium rocket carrying the GPSIII SV02 satellite to orbit. This was the view from Cocoa Beach -- many people showed up to watch.

🎯 hit it 30x — At 4:12am (ET) Thursday, SpaceX sent a batch of Starlink satellites to orbit atop a Falcon 9 booster making its 30th (!!) trip to space. The booster was (again) recovered, to be flown again. This was the view from Merritt Island looking over the Banana River.
