Day 2 of activities week finds me at WhitlinghamAdventure again, this time with years 7-9!
Lots of fun has been had on the second day of activities week Wayland Academy. WhitlinghamAdventure has been a blast! But we return back to school for the next two days for some PE.
The first round of fixtures vs Northgate Sport have been played! Year 8 1-3 Year 9 3-4 Year 10 3-4 Unfortunately we lost all the opening games, but they were all very close games, with lots of fantastic individual performances. Next round we move onto Wymondham High Academy
The students represented the school so well today at the Inspiration Trust rugby tournament! Some truly remarkable performances.
Very good game today played against WymondhamCollegePE ‘B’ team. Finished 3-3 after a really strong start by us. The game was played with such spirit from both teams. Hatrick hero Riley L!
It was lovely to welcome two of our new kit sponsors to Wayland Academy this afternoon. Thanks to SGK Roofing we have a new Y7/8 football kit and because of Norfolk Stairlifts support we were able to purchase a new Y9/10 football kit. More new kits coming soon…
Thank you to Inspiration Trust for hosting another great football tournament. Congratulations to the year 10 girls for getting their bronze medals. The other year groups weren’t far off!
We are absolutely ecstatic to have finished 2nd at the Inspiration Trust Champions Day yesterday. A huge congratulations to all the students who took part and stood in when needed! #spreadtheword
