🧵20 years ago, I went to the Hill as a young staffer & since that time Nancy Pelosi has always been our Leader. In her time as Speaker, Pelosi has been a tremendous force for good. She has been one of the most effective, consequential & powerful Speakers in our history.

If you want to say that what the Democrats did with their majority was bad, that's fine, reasonable people can disagree, etc. But the notion they didn't tackle substantive issues with the bills that they passed seems, I dunno, wrong?
