The final graduation! My neonatology fellowship training at Test Account STLChildrensHospital is coming to an end and it was a joy to celebrate with wonderful co-fellows & faculty this week. I want to note that the end of Wash U in St. Louis Neonatology Fellowship fellowship is meaningful to me in multiple ways: (1/5)

St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Neonatology specialty ranked #8 in the nation by U.S. News Health! This is a testament to each of our team member’s hard work to ensure our patients and families receive the best multidisciplinary care.

We've added another crayon color to our SLCH NICU - the Pink Team! There was lots of spirit this morning as we celebrated the first day of our new 7th medical team! This addition will reduce the number of babies on each team, allowing more time for education and communication!

Yesterday we rolled out Eat, Sleep, Console - a new way of caring for infants with neonatal opiate withdrawal syndrome in our unit. The goal is to maximize caregiver participation and non-pharmacological therapies and is sure to improve the “koala-ty” of care for our patients!
