Through thought-provoking conversations with ICTS @ WashU in STL leaders, #WashUMedCRTC scholars and alumni, and keynote speaker Ruth O’Hara, PhD from Stanford Medicine, the ICTS Symposium explored impactful practices in translational science and how to apply them in the real world! The Summer Research Symposium was a wonderful opportunity for our TL1 trainees to gather and showcase their work. A big thank you to TL1 Program Director Jay Piccirillo, MD, our dedicated mentors, and our hardworking trainees from WashU, Mizzou, Saint Louis University, University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in STL, & UMKC!

Yesterday, our newest MSCI and MTPCI scholars gathered at the #WashUMedCRTC for orientation! They learned more about the programs, met with leaders Drs. Reeds and Yusen, and explored ICTS @ WashU in STL resources with Dr. McKenzie. We’re so excited for them to start this new journey!
