It’s been a good and varied week of boating.

With the return of the Explorers, the Warspite Summer Camp season draws to a close. Over 3 weeks; 72 young people have clocked up over 500 nights away as participants at 3 Camps & over 70 as Young Leaders. Over 30 different adults camped with over 250 nights away. Time to take 5

Explorers in the summer - with mates, training for the Great River Race and enjoying the evening.

Sculling, rowing, canoeing & capsizing - it’s been a great night on the river for the Scout Troop.

A week before they take on the 21 mile Great River Race, our teams were out practicing this morning. This is a massive endeavour through Central London on the tidal Thames. If you are able to sponsor them at cafdonate.cafonline.org/21558,

This years Great River Race became the Memorial Procession - but whatever the name; 21.6 miles is an incredible row. Massive congratulations to our 4 youth teams and our adult crew - you did us proud with exceptional stamina and brilliant seamanship. Massive thanks to Northern Exposure Rescue
