Junes Crafternoons group met with Culture Warrington Jake today to discuss contributing some art work to their upcoming place/base festival in July. The group have also started the T-shirt designs for the yourlivewire and Warrington Wolves Community Foundation LD fit to tackle group. Great work today team 👍🏻

Fate is a wonderful thing. It’s world Down Syndrome day and myself and Kathryn Yates bump into Ross, Christian and the fab team Stand Out Socks at lunch so we had to buy a pair of their amazing Down Syndrome awareness socks. They are top quality, look/feel great thanks guys👍🏻
George sent me this picture today of him making good use of the slow cooker he received from the wonderful team WVR College for completing the life skills/numeracy community course we collaborated on recently. Well done George great to see you applying those life skills at home.
Brilliant first gathering for a new people led group with Ange and Diane from the Warrington Borough Council Preparation for Adulthood team to help plan and prepare for young people progressing into adulthood in the future in Warrington. This is such a vital piece of work well done everyone👍🏻

Fantastic first retro gaming night at the TheOldSchool last night. The session was busy and great to see people connect socially through their interest in all things gaming, and the sonic leaderboard task proved very competitive 🤣👍🏻
Big thanks to Linda and Faye from WVR College for the six weeks numeracy and life skills adult community course with the people we connect with in Warrington. The final weeks practical food prep and each person receiving a slow cooker has been a lovely way to finish. 👍🏻➖➕➗✖️🟰
