Said goodbye today to the Trust and people that have helped shape me into the person I am today. I am truly overwhelmed by my colleagues generosity and can’t begin to put into words what it means to me. Goodbye Walsall Healthcare and soon to be a hello to Wolverhampton University!

Everyone connected with the Trust is deeply saddened to hear of the death of a popular and selfless member of the Outpatients team, following a short illness. Surinder Swarnn, 51, died on 20 September at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. Tribute: bit.ly/3frfOwc

Matthew Aston is next up, bagging himself the ‘Volunteer of the year – Young Person’ award. He’s a EWE (Enhancing Ward Experience) volunteer, and helps out both on the hospital welcome hub and across wards.
