Freeport Elementary School Principal Kristin Lewis was recognized today at the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA) Conference in Orlando, FL! Mrs. Lewis is WCSD's Principal of the Year and a shining star for the rest of the state as a stellar administrator!

The EPIC Van is out on it's maiden voyage of the summer today in the Paxton community! If you can't get out to see the van today, mark your calendar for next Monday!

The District Never Sleeps: Freeport is under renovation! New floors at FLC, painting at FHS, a pavilion at FES - during the summer our maintenance staff and contractors are hard at work ensuring that campuses are beautiful for the return of our students.

Walton County students continue to improve year over year - this year, based on state testing data, our students performed in the Top 10 in 20 of 21 assessed areas. We were number 11 in the 21st assessed area (8th Grade ELA).

Rooms is coming in August and the BEST thing you can do is call your school(s) to make sure your information is correct in FOCUS by calling your child's school!

All Walton County School District offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Independence Day

Can you guess how many computers there are in the District?! Leave your guess below! Every summer our Technology Department refreshes and repairs thousands of student and faculty computers to ensure that they are free of any bugs or old files. It's like a new computer!!!
