The Big Drawing. Odin. Microns & Tombow's Fudenosuke Brush Pen hard tip/soft tip. 12.5 x 10. 2025. Odin's armor is based on a Kirby version on the first page of the Tales of Asgard story in Journey into Mystery 123. This remains one of my favorite version of Odin's daywear.

A Great White Ape of Barsoom, Edgar Rice Burroughs' name for Mars. Pentel and colored pencil. 8.5 x 14. 1964. I read a ton of the Burroughs' books when they were first issued in paperback. I did a few drawings from his work, particularly of the aliens from Barsoom.

Finally unearthed tonight months after our move. The ink bottle holder my Dad made for me very early in my career, possibly when I was still at RISD. I couldn't be more delighted!! :-D

The Battle of Muspelheim, lower left corner. Fudenosuke Brush Pen hard tip. 2025. I finished the Big Drawing yesterday afternoon by signing it. The date's a little unusual for me as I've never posted the starting and finishing dates of a drawing before. Glad it's done.

The Battle of Muspelheim. Fudenosuke Brush Pens, and a little ProWhite here and there. 61.5 x 41.75. 2025. This is likely the final post for this piece. I was able to get a scan of the entire drawing. I had to down res it in order for it to post. So we'll see it comes out.

A Sound of Thunder. Rapidograph. 8.5 x 11. 1965. An illustration from Ray Bradbury's short story, A Sound of Thunder. I was a big Bradbury fan back in the day and still am. So I was inspired to do a drawing of one of his well known stories.
