On Wednesday, the U18’s football team participated in the final of the JH Lorraine cup.They beat Lockerbie and Dumfries Academy on the way to the first final in over 10 years.They faced a strong St Joseph’s side and came up short,but gave a strong account of themselves. Well done

Well done to the S2-3 Hockey team who went undefeated today to claim the Dr Turners regional hockey trophy.Some dedicated coaching from S6’s Ellie and Charlotte throughout the year saw the girls play some fantastic hockey, scoring some great goals!

Yesterday the S1/2 and the S5/6 completed the finals of the CrossFit House Games 💪🏼 After these events Cairn, Nith and Scaur are all on equal 4 points, with the deciding S3/4 event taking place on Tuesday 9th of April 🟡🔴🟢

Today saw the welcome return of the Dr Turners hockey tournament for our senior pupils. Both the boys and girls teams performed well, both winning, drawing and losing a game each to finish 3rd in each competition. Thanks to Dumfries Hockey Club for organising 🏑

The U16’s girls rugby team took part in the regional finals today. They performed well, winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 1. All the girls performed remarkably well in the conditions, with a special mention to captain Isla and coaches player of the day Zara 🏉

Our senior netball team were in action today against Annan Academy PE Dept In a high quality game, Annan came out on top to win 33-17. The final league game of the season against Langholm takes place in the coming weeks 🏐

Our U16’s boys rugby team competed in the Regional Finals today. They finished runners up, winning two games and drawing 3. Well done boys 🏉

This afternoon our junior netball team hosted Annan Academy PE Dept in the first round of the regional league. The girls played 3 games and enjoyed their first taste of competitive action this year. Well done everyone 👏🏼 🏐

Last night 49 pupils travelled to St James’ Park to enjoy the Champions League tie between Newcastle United FC and Paris Saint-Germain The pupils loved the electric atmosphere in the stadium and all the goals going in, especially Newcastle’s 4! ⚽️
