Kindergarteners in Mrs. McDonald’s class have been describing 2-D shapes (sides, points, vertices) and today we designed our own Jack o lanterns using 2-D shapes🎃

In Mrs. Clooney's writing classes, students work independently with calm music. 🎶 Students are given sand timers when they are caught working hard. ⏳️ When the sand runs out, they find another student who is working hard to give the timer to.

I honor of Election Day, Mrs. Thompson’s Kindergartner class learned about voting. They voted by secret ballot, tallied the results and celebrated a winner. It was a close race down to the last vote. “Read the Book” was declared the winner.

KGs current science unit is River Rescue, all about keeping the earth clean. Mrs. McDonald’s class was “challenged” by Mrs. Collins’ class at Townsend Elementary to see who could collect the most trash around their school this week! They met on Google Meet today to talk trash 🤣

Students in Miss B’s 5th grade science class have been learning about body systems! Finding similarities and differences in their digestive and skeletal systems. Today Miss B surprised the classes with a real live chicken that they each got to pet and ask questions about🐓🐔

Our Wildcat basketball teams are ready to make their debut TONIGHT 🏀 Girls play at 6:30 and boys are at 7 at The Opportunity Center. Our cheerleaders will be there as well📣 GO WALKER WILDCATS💛🐯🖤
