Yesterday we were tasked with transporting a hemofilitration machine from Gwent ICU to Ysbyty Gwynydd ICU a journey from the South of Wales to North Wales consisting of over 8 hours travel. Thanks to everyone involved. #SupportTheNHS #Covid_19 #coronavirus @KSSCRC Seetec

The Gwent team have spent much of this week delivering essential supplies to service users who are self isolating. Again we would like to thank raven trust house for supplying the items. @KSSCRC Seetec #keyworking

We love receiving feedback for the work we do in our communities, especially from individuals we help through the recent crisis. We received correspondence from our colleagues @WalesNPS that a service user was very grateful:- "Thank you, this will keep us going for a while".

We have partnered with some great local projects through the #coronaviruscrisis one of which that has been keeping us very busy is the foodbank at Bettws in Newport Newport Foodbank @KSSCRC Seetec

We have received more thanks from the work we have been doing to deliver medication to members of our community which really makes a difference. Our staff have been working tirelessly in partnership with local pharmacies delivering vital supplies Seetec @KSSCRC

Here in Gwent we have a mascot who is helping with deliveries to residents in our community. May I introduce Kevin to our partners and friends in the community. He was born in a skip and named by our service users.

Throughout the latest lockdown the team in Gwent have continued to engage with local businesses and charities. This was a delivery of food donations we recently dropped off to the Raven House Trust.

With Unpaid Work sessions back up and running in Gwent our service users have been hard at work back out at projects. Here is some of the work being done at Raglan Terrace with a compost area being created solely from off cuts and garden waste.

We have received some great feedback from WOAP Beaufort about the work our service users have been carrying out for them. Great to see our efforts being noticed and appreciated by the community. Here are some examples of the tasks we have carried out there recently.

Out litter picking with a group of service users this morning and had a friendly local come to check we hadn’t missed any rubbish, he was happy with our efforts but not with our lack of polos

The team here in Gwent are happy to be a part of the new Probation Service. The first few couple of weeks of unification have been going well with service users continuing to carry out excellent work in our communities and we are excited for the future.
