May’s footfall figures are in — and it’s more good news for our city! ✅ Visitor numbers are up on last year ✅ People are spending more time in the city ✅ And more are choosing to come back again and again It’s a strong sign that Wakefield is moving in the right direction.

🕒 Visitors are sticking around! The average time people spent in Wakefield in May was 51 minutes & repeat visits were up 5.7% from April. That means more time spent shopping, browsing, grabbing a bite, and enjoying what’s here. 👏 Here’s to longer stays and livelier streets.
