Officers from the Dewsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Kirklees Police Cadets will be holding a Police Contact Point & Bike Register Event.

Working with West Yorkshire Police - Dewsbury cadets have also been delivering their #SafeTea Fraud Prevention project, encouraging local communities to take time have a cup of Tea whilst taking time to prevent becoming a victim of fraud

Kirklees Cadets are back at Beaumont Park tonight, this time for some orienteering to practice compass work for upcoming The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions

The cadets have managed to get in shot at the scout parade

The St George’s Day parade has concluded, the cadets have chatted to a lot of the Scouts and parents, and the compliment of the day was from a gentleman visiting from Germany who was pleased to see young people involved in community Policing.

This afternoon Kirklees Cadets are out in Beaumont Park Huddersfield supporting Huddersfield South West Scouts St George’s Day Parade, an opportunity for the cadets to engage with the local community.

Great scenario session at Kirklees West Yorkshire Police Cadets tonight, from reading the log of the call, to going to the scene, to arresting the suspect to taking a statement from the Victim.

The Suspect was later charged with “GBH - Grotesque Bodily Harm”😂

And that’s it, they’re all back! Two days of challenges both physical and mental for the Cadets to overcome, and they all did it! A mixed group from Kirklees, Wakefield and Calderdale. They may have started a group but they’ve ended a Team, and friends!

They’ve hit the heart of The Happy Valley and they’re powering on, great to see WY Police Specials out on the beat

Day two is well underway for the Kirklees, Wakefield and Calderdale DofE bronze expedition. Blakedean Scout Hostel has been a great place to stop, real tranquility in a beautiful surroundings

We’ve had the luxury of being without mobile signal for the end of the first day, some cracking team work brought them to our base for the night, the fabulous Blakedean Scout Hostel
