On Martin Luther King Day let us all remember Dr. King’s call to create a society where all are treated w/ equal dignity. In our own lives we must live that out through a commitment to seeing one another as God sees us: beloved sons and daughters, made in His image & likeness.

I was pleased to bless Cathedral students this morning as we begin Catholic Schools Week. Let us pray for all of our students, faculty, and staff throughout the diocese.

Our Lady of Lourdes, patroness of our diocese and of the sick, pray for us.

March is traditionally dedicated to St. Joseph. In scripture, he never spoke, but his actions showed him to be a man of deep faith, commitment, and concern. Let us imitate St. Joseph on our walk with Christ and act in quiet humble service to the Lord.

Happy St. Patrick's day! St. Patrick reminds us of our need to go out in faith to bring the Gospel to all, in both hostile and peaceful environments, and show the true love of Christ.

As we enter Holy Week we commemorate Our Lord’s pascal mystery. This year our celebrations are especially moving after experiencing Holy Week in isolation this last year. Happy Palm Sunday, Hosanna to the Son of David!
