WUTH SEAL Unit has now assisted with over 50 hours of surgical enhanced recovery education. That's over 50 patients who have received pre op education. Special mention to Tara-Louise Molloy and her team for all their guidance and help, u have been amazing xx
WUTH SEAL Unit have now opened their post op care clinic (POCC). All day case surgical patients at APh and CGh now have access to a follow up clinic if needed in the first 5 days post op. Thanks to Hayley.Crawford Pronoun She/Her 🌈 Lee Bennett Dylan Edwards for all your help and support.

Update on SEAL’s post op clinic…. 1 month open, 22 patient self referrals, 11 asked to attend, 11 redirected to correct department or given advice. All patients avoided AE and over £2000 saved!! Dylan Edwards Lee Bennett Hayley.Crawford Pronoun She/Her 🌈 WUTH Division of Surgery
2nd month and our post op care clinic is growing. Approximately 22 admissions to AE avoided saving in the region of 4.5k. 40 patients offered advice on the phone and patient’s surgical journey improved. Lee Bennett Dylan Edwards WUTH Division of Surgery
