A second exciting project is that we have developed a Cultural Competency training for next year's interns! We will also be incorporating a training for safety in the field, which is important for all disciplines our interns represent. We're very excited to provide this service!

(4/4) PEPC provides the opportunity to examine equity through a leadership lens. I am able to join in on conversations with leaders at Henry Ford, understand their take on equity, and discuss what the hospital can do to maximize its presence throughout its different campuses.

(3/4) As a mentor, I have the privilege of working with scholars and helping them establish connections with leaders and departments at Henry Ford. With PEPC, we are interviewing system leadership to understand the effectiveness of equity within the hospital system.

(2/4) The whole purpose of HESP is to increase equity throughout the hospital system. Scholars have projects that range all across the board, from analyzing data on hospital discharge to the role of community workers in patient health. The spectrum is large.

(1/4) Hi everyone, this is Mary Yousif! This summer, I worked with Henry Ford Health on the Health Equity Scholars Program (HESP) and Pursing Equity in Patient Care (PEPC) committee. With the HESP Program, I have the opportunity to mentor and guide scholars on their projects.

One of our most exciting achievements over this summer was starting a repository to show off our interns' work! If you go to hcommons.org/groups/wayne-sโ€ฆ and go to the Files tab, you can see deliverables from multiple years. We will keep adding more as we get them, so check back!

The Summer Clinic may be drawing to a close, but that doesn't mean the Humanities Clinic stops doing its work! This week's 'Twitter Takeover' will be a summary of the work we've gotten done this summer, and a preview of what's to come during the school year!

Carly Slank here! This summer, I worked with the Wayne State University Press helping track subrights licensing. Subrights allow WSUP books to be translated and transformed into other languages and formats. The Detroit classic, Techno Rebels, has been translated and published in Spanish and French!

We have two weeks left in the Clinic, but this is our final Twitter Takeover! For our interns, last but by no means least are Carly Slank and Mary Yousif! Keep an eye out for updates from our wonderful projects at Henry Ford Health and Wayne State University Press!

I can't show pictures of my work (still working on perfecting them!), but I'm using Canva to make event docs. Just wondering...
do you prefer cool, earthy, tones or bright, expressive colors in brochures, fliers, & booklets for events? I like Earthy Tones ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿค” Fatima alb
