Winter Solstice along the gulf coast.

Not exactly where I wanted to spend the holidays, but Henderson KY Deaconess Hospital location does offer some nice views. I’ll bet the Spring-Fall offer super colors.

Today is the 1st day since 20 Dec 25 their wasn’t some bad news wrt my 93yr old Dad. Fell off an excavator on 20th broke r-hip. 1st hosp did nothing for 3 days. Shipped to 2nd where they replaced it on 24. Searched for rehab location and VA said NO! He’s a Korean War combat Vet!!

It’s been a long 21 days trying to help my 93yr old Dad who fell and broke his r-hip. Seems the valleys were deep and we just weren’t getting anywhere with locating a rehab location. Still hurts the VA would not step up to help a Korean War Vet. Nice to be back home.

C8 Corvettes have many fine qualities. However, on the hard top convertible you can’t see the heart of the car! The LT6 engine is an engineering marvel, hand built and deserves to be seen! If you want to see it, owners must buy an aftermarket clear engine cover.

Tomorrow’s going to be a tough day. My 93yr old Dad is being told it’s time for hospice care. Feel awful.

I try to park away from others to prevent door dings. Most of the time it works out just fine and I don’t mind the extra walk. The other day at a Doc’s appointment I came out to a Ferrari parked next to me. Can’t say I minded!
