Tonight two male drivers from Kitchener were stopped for racing at 113km/hr in a 70km/hr zone on Homer Watson Blvd, Kitchener. Both Vehicles seized for 14 days and both licences suspended for 30 days. #projecterase City of Kitchener @cityofcambridge Dash Internet Waterloo Regional Police
An 18 year old male was stopped after traveling 134km/hr in a 50km/hr zone on Fisher Hallman Rd in Kitchener. His G2 licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days. #projecterase City of Kitchener @cityofcambridge Dash Internet Waterloo Regional Police
Well into day 1 of the Waterloo Regional Police CVSA inspection blitz inspectors from WRPS Traffic Unit and our enforcement partners have stopped CMV's with bald tires, inoperative brakes, 2 drivers failling roadside screening devices and 1 inappropriate use of vice grips.
Insecure loads, Broken Rotors, Bent Chains, Improper licences. All issues found on day 2 of the Waterloo Regional Police WRPS Traffic Unit CVSA blitz. Thank you to all our CVSA partners who participated and helped make Region of Waterloo roads a little safer.
Last evening Waterloo Regional Police WRPS Traffic Unit unit officers charged 6 drivers with Stunt Driving and 4 vehicles with modified exhaust systems. Aggressive driving and noise pollution disturbs residents and puts other drivers at risk. Please slow down and remove illegal modifications.
Last night, Waterloo Regional Police WRPS Traffic Unit unit focused on road safety complaint areas of Wilmot Township. A total of 39 charges were laid, including 5 for excessive noise and 3 vehicles taken off the road for safety violations.
Next week, these signs will be popping up all over Region of Waterloo as students head back to school. The great STSWR school bus drivers and crossing guards need you to slow down, obey the signals and help get our kids to school safely. Waterloo Regional Police
