Surprisingly the rain kept away so we went for a nice walk. Firstly to Dean Village, then along the Water of Leith, which was very picturesque, and then to National Galleries of Scotland: Modern One. The exhibition by Do Ho Suh was excellent.

Down to Redbraes this morning for our volunteers, finally in some sunshine to clean up, tidy path sections and conduct a Riverfly Partnership survey.

If you get outside between the showers snakeshead fritillary are out in their glory. These beauties are at our Balgreen meadow.

Managed a wander along The Water Of Leith to the wee oasis of Saughton Park, then a poke around the glasshouse and beyond and some photos.

Felt like an achievement.
