We are so proud of the WMU College of Health and Human Services DPT Class of 2021! In the midst of the graduation festivities, we had our first WMU DPT Research Day, with each research group presenting posters. Students participated in the research process from start to finish. #research

A small portion of the students and faculty who heard about all the options for and need for service and advocacy for the PT profession with the APTA Michigan president, Dr. Edward Mathis, PT, DPT! Was a great evening!

Thanks to Annabelle Burke and Dr. Daryl Lawson for presenting on ways to manage knee pain and osteoarthritis last week at Friendship Village. It's great to see the WMU DPT program in the community.

Nearly 70 graduate students will display and present posters throughout the CHHS building atrium on Friday April 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. Students will present posters on a wide range of research topics. The whole WMU community is invited to support them at this exciting event.

Thanks to WMed for hosting the Interprofessional Education Event this week highlighting the importance of collaborative health care. The event included students & faculty from Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo Valley.

We had a tremendous Homecoming event this year! Thanks to all the students and staff that helped plan. Also thanks to Interim Dean Jennifer Harrison and Development Officer Trevor Block for coming as well. But the stars of the day were our alumni that returned. Until next year!
