Wow, what a snow day! ❄️ It's safe to say this was a historic snowfall for much of the area. We're still gathering updated snow totals—check out the previous post for the updated PNS. We'll continue adding new totals here as they come in! #lawx #mswx

#Florida had a bigger single day snowfall than nearly every major Canadian city - even the north. This could be the most wild map I've made in my career #Enzo #Winterstorm #Toronto

After the coldest morning in a few years, I'm focusing on the countdown to Spring. I've had enough. #mawx #Springplease #donewithwinter

We've had plenty of cold, but not a ton of snow so far this winter. We are running a snow deficit despite last Sunday's snow. No snowstorms in sight. Maybe a few snow showers Sunday morning.

#StormEowyn could be the worst storm in generations for Ireland, Scotland, and the United Kingdom. The GFS model below shows pressure getting down to 936mb, equivalent to a category 4 hurricane! Met Office saying flying debris could cause danger to life, with gusts up to 100mph.

Remember the historic snowstorm on the Gulf Coast? Turns out it’s not done yet. It will develop into a bomb cyclone known as Storm Eowyn, which will be the equivalent of a Cat. 4 Hurricane. 100+ MPH winds possible in Ireland. Could be the worst storm in UK and Ireland in years.

Another very cold morning Friday, then another nice rebound. Not buying we hit freezing... maybe a few spots get there. Most stay in the 20s and with the breeze, it will feel more like teens. #mawx

Well, this is unusual! Photos taken Thursday show snow on a Florida beach and no snow in the Alaska wilderness. Historically, Juneau averages 25 inches of snow in January, but it has only had 8.1 inches so far. Pensacola received 8.9 inches on Tuesday.

Some big wind gusts today! Wind is already dying down and will go light tonight. However, gusty breezes (not quite as rough) return tomorrow. #mawx
