Varsity got the 3-1 victory against Arlington Monday. Their record is 8-7. JV lost the first set but came back to win the next two for the W. Their record is 12-3.

Varsity and JV both swept Wakefield Wednesday at home. Their records are 9-7 and 13-3 respectively.

Varsity got the 3-0 victory over Malden bringing their record to 10-7 and securing their place in the MIAA State Tournament. JV also got her victory and their record is 14-3.

Monday varsity and JV got the clean sweep against Burlington. Their records are 11-7 and 15-3 respectively.

Varsity traveled to Greater Lawrence Tech Wednesday and came away with the 3-1 victory. Their record is 12-7. JV fell 0-2 and their record is 15-4.

Senior night this afternoon!!!

Woburn varsity got the 3-0 victory on senior night against Salem. They finish the regular season at 13-7 and await seeding the MIAA State Tournament Earle next week.

Woburn (30) defeated North Quincy (35) 3-1 tonight in the MIAA State Tourney. They move on to face Needham (3) Saturday at 4pm.

Woburn(30) traveled to Needham(3) and played one of their best games of the season. They still lost 1-3 but never backed down. Set scores 22-25, 25-23, 21-25 and 14-25. The third year program played hard against a perennial state powerhouse. They made Woburn proud.

Tryouts day 3 (today)……. Grade 9 are 8:30am to 10. Grades 10-12 have a tryout scrimmage against Billerica be in the gym at 10am. Scrimmage will run from 11 to approx 1.

Last day of tryouts tomorrow 8/21….. Varsity returners and invited players are at 8am to 9:45 All other players are at 9:15am to 10:45
