The fifth and final American Kestrel chick in the Wisconsin Kestrel Cam nest took its first flight early this morning. Its four siblings fledged yesterday, and now all five are exploring the grasslands around the farm with their parents. youtu.be/9X-dRMg-OzA

All five of American Kestrel Cam's female fledglings took flight between June 13 and 15 and we’ve compiled these flights into one amazing supercut! The fledglings will still depend on their parents for food as they practice flying and learn how to hunt. youtu.be/BPQQpcTIPZw

A male Red-crowned Woodpecker arrived and spent a while observing the other visitors (including a Thick-billed Euphonia and a Crimson-backed Tanager), bouncing on a nearby branch before hopping onto the table. See more about this woodpecker in the clip! youtu.be/DjbuJ1zo5Nw
